Cadastral Maps
"Cadastre"
Cadastral maps are used to depict rights and boundaries of land. We see these types of maps quite often especially in new housing developments, contractors will survey the land create the boundaries and then sell those blocks. The information gathered when this is done is GPS location, dimensions etc. Their primary purpose is to support land tenure systems.
