Classed Choropleth Map

Classed Choropleth Map
2004 Presidential Election Margin of Winning

A classed choropleth map is a type of thematic map that uses colors and shading to represent the measurement or variable which is being measured for example population density. The main purpose for these maps is to determine the height and shading intensity for each class chosen. The data here is systematically separated into classes. The map I chose is that from the 2004 Presidential election. Based from the statistical information gathered those percentages from the margin of victory were implemented on this map and given a color, the darker being a higher percentage.
