DEM

DEM
Digital Elevation Model

A digital elevation model also referred to as DEM is a digitally produced map of surface topography. Typically generated by remote sensing they are often used to create digital models and representations. DEM maps can be taken by wither satellites or airplanes. This is clearly a surface DEM map because we can see as the colors change from green to dark red so does the elevation.
